Taronga Zoo Roar and Snore

Taronga Zoo Roar and Snore

Join us for the Taronga Zoo Roar and Snore and be awakened by the roar of lions as they cuddle up to you in your tent!

Okay, so that last part is an exaggeration, though the Taronga Zoo Roar and Snore is still the wildest slumber party around, and your best chance to get up close and personal with the Zoos most friendly creatures (which probably does not include the lions).

Roar and Snore is an exciting overnight program beginning with refreshments on arrival at 6.30pm, followed by a meet and greet with some of the zoos furry characters. After a buffet dinner you can hike through the zoo on a night zoo safari led by a zoo educator, and sneak a nocturnal peak at the animals while they relax after a hard days entertaining.

As a Roar and Snore camper, youll camp in a luxurious Safari tent nestled on the cliff top edge of spectacular Sydney Harbour, in the heart of Australias most famous zoo, and will rise to the warbles, rumbles, squeaks, growls and roars of the animals greeting the day.

Your wildlife adventure continues with breakfast before two behind the scenes experiences. You are also welcome to spend the next day exploring the zoo during the daylight hours.

Price includes guided night Zoo Safari, tent accommodation, dinner, refreshments, breakfast, two back of house tours, free car parking and admission to the zoo the following day.

Roar and Snore is an ideal adventure for families, friends or social clubs and is an exciting venue for a unique employee incentive or training venue. In addition to our regular program, we can offer our corporate clients access to breakout rooms where training or lectures can occur (additional hire fees may apply).

Familiarise yourself with all the information available as you plan your special night. Remember to wear walking shoes for your night zoo safari. Toilet and basic shower facilities are available all night.

Your Roar and Snore guides are Zoo staff who will greet you on arrival at the Education Centre and accompany you throughout the entire program. Our staff includes security staff that is on the grounds throughout the night in case of an emergency.

Wake the next morning to the roar of the lions or an elephants trumpet as you prepare to experience the zoo before the crowds. Feed a giraffe or pat a seal as you go behind the scenes to learn about the secrets of this famous and fascinating zoo.

Enjoy the sunrise, sunset or both from this exclusive location, contemplating the scene before you. A night a Taronga Zoos new Roar & Snore is an experience that you will treasure for a lifetime!
