In 2008, the highlight of the Appeal - Bandaged Bear Day itself will be celebrated on Friday 14 March.
The Bandaged Bear Day Appeal is a major merchandise fundraising appeal for The Children's Hospital at Westmead. Merchandise is on sale at a variety of outlets throughout New South Wales for the month of March.
Friday 14 March, Bandaged Bear Day, is the highlight of the Appeal with hundreds of volunteers on the streets selling the bright and colourful merchandise. The Hospital relies heavily on the support of the community to make this day an overwhelming success.
Where does the money go?
All proceeds raised from the sale of Bandaged Bear Day merchandise go directly to The Children's Hospital at Westmead. The funds are directed to the areas of the Hospital most in need at the time. Every dollar we receive goes directly toward supporting the amazing work done at the Hospital, and ultimately, impacts the lives of sick kids and their families. |
