For national association representatives only, this inspirational half-day seminar will be held on 22 August 2008.
Hosted by the Centre and the Sydney Convention and Visitors Bureau, Platform08 will feature two enlightening case studies of past conventions, presented by the chairs and PCOs for each event.
In addition, speakers from the NSW Government, the Centre and the Bureau will outline the extensive range of support available to assist associations in their efforts to bid for international events.
The seminar will be followed by lunch at the Centre, giving attendees a further chance to network with speakers and other invited guests. Airfares and accommodation will be offered on a complimentary basis for qualified interstate guests who are considering attending.
Last year's seminar attracted association representatives and industry partners from around the country and included case studies from the 10th International Congress on Obesity and the 13th International Heat Transfer Conference.
