Come to the Cobbitty Village Markets to experience a true country market day!

Sit, relax, and enjoy a delicious BBQ breakfast or lunch, devonshire teas, and a variety of gourmet delicacies between meandering through 100 stalls selling an exciting range of craft, gourmet foods, and local produce.

Wet Weather?

In the case of torrential local rainfall, a market may be cancelled; however this decision must be made by the Thursday evening preceeding the market.

There is good drainage at the site, and cancellation is very rare (twice only in the last 25 years). A message will be placed here by Thursday evening if a market is cancelled; no message means the market will be on.

A recorded message will also be placed on the market phone: 0438 512728. A market cannot be cancelled after Friday morning, even despite heavy rain.

What's for sale?

We are a craft market, with our stallholders selling a wide range of unusual and interesting hand-made goods, gifts and wares.

Ceramics, woodwork, paintings and frames, to clothes and jewellery, unique furniture, gorgeous nick-knacks and trinkets, lovingly made soaps and body products, toys for the littlies, and a whole lot more - always something perfect for that special gift, important occasion, or just to spoil yourself, friends or family.

We also sell a selection of gourmet fresh, baked, and carefully prepared foods and produce; and there are flowers, plants and seedlings as well.

Our history!

We are a volunteer market, run and organised solely by a committee of volunteers since 1982 when the markets began.

Our aim is to provide a great local market as a service to the community. All funds raised are returned to needy organisations and people in the local and Sydney area.

And there's more!

The market is in the grounds of Cobbitty Public School, with lovely shade trees, some covered walkways, and the delightful country atmosphere of Cobbitty town.

Off-street parking is available behind the market, and there is entertainment including professionals as well as a mix of local dance groups and bands.

Refreshments!

Foods available for breakfast, lunch or snacks include a Lions Club or school run BBQ hot food stall, delightful vegetarian or Turkish foods, Devonshire coffee and tea, Cappuccino, Fresh Fruit Frozen Yoghurt or Ice Cream, and lots of delicious home-made snacks and treats.
