The Thirlmere Rail Craft Market is a monthly market held on the 3rd Sunday every month, which brings the village of Thirlmere to life with the colour of arts and craft and the chatter of community spirit.

Located beside the historic Thirlmere Railway Station, the market offers stallholders selling:

  • crystals

  • kiddies rides
Offering from the extensive range of handcrafted wares for gifts, enjoy great food and drinks, hot and cold, then visit the Thirlmere Railway Museum - just a short walk from the market. Take a ride on a train to Picton and back, then take a leisurely stroll around the markets.

Steam trains operate on the 1st and 3rd Sunday (March to November only & fire bans permitting).
