The Chinese Garden of Friendship: a cultural oasis in the heart of Sydney.

The Chinese Garden of Friendship offers a rare opportunity outside Asia to enjoy a tradition of landscape design that has evolved over many centuries.

Step inside this exotic garden and take a journey through its winding pathways. Experience the serenity of its pavilions, lakes and waterfalls. Afterwards, contemplate the beauty around you while you relax over a jasmine tea in the traditional Chinese Teahouse.

Opening times

The Chinese Garden of Friendship is open daily from 9.30 am to 5 pm excluding Good Friday and Christmas Day.

During the daylight savings period, 5 October 2008 until 4 April 2009, the Garden will remain open until 5.30 pm.

Location

The Chinese Garden of Friendship is located at the southern end of Darling Harbour, near the Sydney Entertainment Centre and adjacent to Chinatown.
