Kids Under Cover
Kids Under Cover believes every young person has a right to a safe and secure place to call home and a sound education.
We work to make that belief a reality.
Our Mission is to build homes and provide scholarships and mentoring for homeless and at-risk young people.
In 1989, Ken Morgan was continuing his tenure as Australias longest serving president of the Variety Club when he decided there was a huge gap in the support provided for homeless families. After discussions with his other board members from Variety, Ken decided to form Kids Under Cover.
The first project Ken focused on building a house for young mothers who had become homeless. He went about convincing members of the building industry a house like this MUST be constructed. And not only that, but they needed to do it for free.
In the past 15 years Kids Under Cover has continued to grow and establish themselves as a driving force in the childrens charity field.
