Spotless Stadium

Spotless Stadium Sporting events, concerts, festivals and more. Spotless Stadium has VIP catering facilities plus hospitality function rooms and the largest in stadia screen in the southern hemisphere.

No wonder the Sydney Thunder cricket team and AFL's GWS Giants have made this their home ground.

Voted by visitors as one of the best stadiums in Australia, this is the ideal venue for major sporting events, concerts, festivals and corporate entertaining. A recent extensive upgrade throughout, at a cost of $65 million, has created a top-quality facility with brilliant audio and acoustics along with a full range of amenities. The venue can also be easily modified to host smaller events. Function rooms with VIP catering and bar facilities provide the ideal space for hospitality, training seminars or other special events.

Sydney Showground Stadium was redeveloped in 2013 for the Greater Western Sydney Giants AFL club.

The upgrade saw seating capacity increase from 13,000 to 25,000 including two new grandstands, upgraded corporate hospitality, bars and function space, large video screen, new media facilities and improved audio and sound systems. The Main Arena surface was also reconfigured to allow a full-sized AFL field.

While the venue is officially known as the Sydney Showground Main Arena, it is known as a different name for GWS Giants home games. Following the first naming rights sponsorship agreement, it was was known as Skoda Stadium during the 2012 & 2013 AFL seasons and was briefly known as Giants Stadium when that deal expired before a new five-year agreement was announced in February 2014, with the venue now known as Spotless Stadium for GWS Giants home games.
