Former Sydney chef and liquor entrepreneur Michael Jaggard deserted the bright lights in favour of a semi-rural tree-change in Bilpin. Howe'ver, the move away from the big smoke has not resulted in retirement, or arguably even a change in pace, with Jaggard opening up a humming pizza restaurant and bar.
Apple Bar combines two of the products for which Jaggard is best known: mouth-watering woodfired pizzas (he formerly owned The Edge pizzeria in Darlinghurst) and his line of liqueurs made from native Australian ingredients.
