Officially Daffodil Day will be held on Friday 22nd August, however you can sell or purchase Daffodil Day merchandise throughout the month.
Daffodil Day aims to deliver a message that will change attitudes about cancer and give hope and support to all those touched by the disease.
The Cancer Council's Daffodil Day is the largest merchandise based national fundraising event of its kind for cancer research, education, and patient support in the Southern Hemisphere.
The event had its beginnings in Canada around 30 years ago and is now held in eight countries including the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Denmark and Australia. It is a day to remember people touched by cancer, a day to celebrate survivorship and to hope for a brighter future.
The daffodil is the international symbol of hope for all those affected by cancer.
