Live Green is a vibrant event that demonstrates how we can live green in an urban environment.
Now in its second year, 2008's Live Green will be held on Sunday 17 August in Victoria Park, Camperdown from 10am - 4pm.
Come and find out about innovative and practical actions you can take to reduce your environmental impact through a range of seminars, workshops, demonstrations and stalls. This year's event will also feature organic and locally grown food, children's activities, entertainment and great bands and DJs.
A large City of Sydney area will provide information about the City's Sustainable Sydney 2030 vision and other initiatives such as waste and recycling, the City's cycling strategy, water reuse, tree planting, greenhouse gas reductions and becoming a carbon neutral Council. |
