Starlight Day is the annual national fundraising event for the Starlight Children's Foundation Australia, to be held on 4th May, and raises vital funds for children and families who live with serious illness and hospitalisation.
Living with illness or injury can cause an enormous strain in the lives of children and their families. The everyday joys of childhood often take a backseat to the stress of treatment and hospitalisation.
There are currently 600,000 child admissions to hospitals each year. Currently Starlight only reaches '1 in 3'. There are many more children in need of Starlight's help.
