The interventions no celebrity asked for are about to hit primetime on Seven with a new comedy format putting familiar Aussie faces firmly in the hot seat.

Glenn Robbins and Mick Molloy lead the charge in a playful takedown of celebrity quirks with names like Sam Pang Carrie Bickmore Dr Chris Brown Dave Hughes and Guy Sebastian set to feature.

Glenn and Mick's Celebrity Intervention is a good-natured roast with a touch of This Is Your Life. No wonder some people ran a mile.

Hosted by Glenn Robbins and Mick Molloy each episode sees a well‑known celebrity summoned to face the music as their loved ones peers and a few surprise guests gather to confront them about their "issues".

Armed with razor-sharp wit cheeky banter and a rich archive of clips photos and stories Glenn and Mick preside over a mock-serious intervention that lovingly exposes the wonderfully trivial absurd and deeply unserious quirks that make each star who they are.
