Early Birds: Autism and Sensory-Friendly Mornings Program

Early Birds: Autism and Sensory-Friendly Mornings ProgramEarly Birds: Autism and Sensory-Friendly Mornings Program

Enjoy a calm and relaxed start to the day at the Australian Museum's Early Birds: Autism and Sensory-Friendly Mornings.

The Australian Museum presents the Early Birds: Autism and Sensory-friendly Mornings program - a reduced sensory, relaxed and supportive visitor experience prior to the Museum opening to the wider public for the day for autistic people and those who have other access requirements.

The program provides a low sensory experience with adjusted lights and sounds, designated quiet areas, "Ask a Scientist" and interactive touch tables, a Visual Story Guide and dedicated staff trained in autism awareness and disability, making it easier for guest and their friends/families to enjoy the Museum.

Guests will also have the opportunity to experience RELICS: A New World Rises - the blockbuster exhibition featuring 14 immersive displays where LEGO® brick civilisations thrive inside treasured objects from our past, created by LEGO® Masters winners Jackson Harvey and Alex Towler.
