Sydney Zoo Offers Grandparents Free Entry for Grandparents Day

Sydney Zoo: Grandparents Day

With its flat, accessible pathways, Sydney Zoo makes exploring the animal kingdom easy for visitors of all ages, from little ones taking their first steps to grandparents enjoying a day out with the family.

Families can also follow the Gruffalo Spotters Trail, an augmented reality adventure included with zoo admission.

Inspired by the much-loved Gruffalo stories, the trail invites little explorers and their grown-ups to follow clues, discover familiar characters and capture photos along the way. Families visiting on Sunday can also look forward to Gruffalo story time sessions and appearances from the Gruffalo himself, with opportunities for little ones to meet the much-loved character.

Whether it's sharing a favourite childhood story with the next generation or simply spending quality time together, Sydney Zoo offers a lovely way for families to celebrate Grandparents Day.
