The Metropolitan Orchestra: Ignite with Sarah-Grace Williams

The Metropolitan Orchestra: Ignite with Sarah-Grace WilliamsThe Metropolitan Orchestra: Ignite with Sarah-Grace Williams

Fresh from 2 sold-out performances at the Sydney Opera House in February, The Metropolitan Orchestra's 18th Met concert season ignites with a blaze of energy and colour in this March 7 performance at the Verbrugghen Hall with a world premiere work by Australian composer Chris Moran titled Equilibrium.

This striking new work explores contrast and balance: groove and grandeur setting the environment for this brilliant first concert of 2026.

Hungarian folk rhythms will burst to life in Kodaly's Dances of Galanta before Beethoven's radiant Symphony No. 4 crowns the evening with classical brilliance and joyful drive.

Led by Chief Conductor Sarah-Grace Williams, this is an ideal opportunity to see the full complement of TMO led by their dynamic Chief Conductor before touring in May with Hollywood superstar Jeff Goldblum.
