A dazzling new night of pure escapism is set to light up the Sydney Opera House this winter, as Velvet Inferno makes its highly anticipated premiere from 24 July to 13 September 2026.

Bursting with energy, glamour and feel-good vibes, this electrifying production blends cabaret, circus and a pumping disco soundtrack into one unforgettable night out. Fan favourites from the smash-hit shows Velvet and Velvet Rewired return alongside an exciting lineup of fresh new talent. Leading the charge is the incomparable Marcia Hines as The Diva, delivering powerhouse vocals that soar above the glittering disco beats.

Brendan Maclean reprises his standout role as Country Mike, bringing his signature charisma back to the stage. Joining the cast is rising star KYE as Gloria, whose journey of self-discovery adds heart and soul to the spectacle.

The thrills don't stop there. World-class circus performers deliver jaw-dropping moments throughout the show - from Craig "Hula Boy" Reid's mesmerising hula-hoop artistry to the breathtaking Australian debut of Ukrainian roller-skating duo Duo Stardust. Aerialists Oleg Tatarynov and Zoe Marshall complete the lineup with stunning high-flying acts that will leave audiences wide-eyed.
