Vivid at Market City: Free parking, dining & light installations, and neon face painting

As Vivid Sydney returns, Market City and Paddy's Haymarket are offering Sydneysiders a more relaxed and accessible way to experience the festival, combining immersive dining, free entertainment and easy parking in the heart of Haymarket.

At Market City's 1909 Dining Precinct (Level 3), "Floral Dreamscape" will transform the space through layered floral projections, animated displays and ambient lighting moments, creating a more relaxed alternative to the main Vivid crowds. Open 10AM-late daily.

Meanwhile, Paddy's Haymarket is launching a free Vivid pre-show experience featuring neon face painting, glow accessories, interactive photo moments and a scavenger hunt throughout the festival period. Open 10AM-6PM daily.

Visitors can enjoy:
At Market City from 22 May-13 June, 10AM-late daily:
- A "Floral Dreamscape" immersive dining installation
- Free parking at Market City when dining on Level 3
- For those not dining, there's $15 overnight parking at Market City throughout Vivid

At Paddy's Haymarket 10AM-6PM daily:
- Free neon face paint with proof of purchase
- A classic photo booth open daily throughout Vivid
- A scavenger hunt with your chance to win free glow accessories
- Plus, a brand new 360° "fit-check" video camera

At Hay St Market open Wed - Sat 8AM-10PM, Sun 8AM-6PM:
- Over 48 market-style stalls to enjoy with two buzzing licensed bars and 16 hawker-style kitchens
- Live music suitable for the whole family on select evenings until late
