Zambrero Sessions in Darlinghurst: Free burritos and bowls, live local DJ and a record swap with a twist

Zambrero Sessions in Darlinghurst

To celebrate the return of their much-loved refurbished Darlinghurst restaurant, Zambrero is hosting a Friday session featuring free burritos and bowls, live music from local DJs and a record swap with a twist.

House DJ Kate Monroe, known as the 'First Lady of House', who has played Sydney Mardi Gras and Harbour Party, will be on the decks playing house, disco and electronic sounds that nod to Oxford Street's dance floors.

There's a record swap with a twist, too. Bring along a working vinyl record you're ready to part with, then dive into the DJ-curated crates and swap it for a hidden gem someone else has loved first. The records span different genres and decades, so expect well-loved favourites, left-field finds and covers worth framing. Keep your eyes peeled for record rarities worth up to $100 a pop up for grabs. Free merch is also up for grabs.

ZAM FAM members can claim a free burrito or bowl on the day. Not a member yet? Download the Zambrero app and join for free before you head down, then scan your membership at the register in the restaurant.

To score a free burrito or bowl: Sign up to ZAM FAM in the Zambrero app (free to join) and simply scan your ZAM FAM rewards membership at the register in the restaurant to claim one regular classic burrito or classic bowl. Limit one per person, at the respective restaurant and event times listed, while stocks last. T&Cs apply.
