Bicentennial Park

Bicentennial Park, created during the 1980s in celebration of Australias Bicentenary in 1988, is a 100 hectare natural heritage site providing an important wetland ecosystem with 40 hectares of beautiful parklands.

The Park is accessed from Australia Avenue, and is part of Sydney Olympic Park. The Park offers visitors recreation, nature-based tours, environmental education and various outdoor event experiences throughout the year.

The Park has free entry, BBQs, picnic areas, two playgrounds, pathways and cycleways, parking, access to the wetlands, salt marsh and bird hides. Additional features include Lake Belvedere, Peace Monument, Treillage Tower, Sundial, Cyrus the Great statue, the Silent Hearts Memorial Garden and water features, along with the Lilies on the Park Cafe.
