Crohn's and Colitis Awareness Month kicked off on May 1 with @Launceston Town Hall Luna Park Melbourne the The Parliament of Western Australia and other key landmarks lighting up purple to show their support.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped shine a light on the 180000+ Australians living with inflammatory bowel disease - your support means so much.
These were just the entree to the main event - World IBD Day.
On Wednesday 19 May over 130 landmarks across Australia will light up purple in a powerful display of support for our community.

OVER 120 AUSSIE LANDMARKS ARE TURNING PURPLE TO RAISE AWARENESS FOR INFLAMMATORY BOWEL DISEASE
May is Crohn's and Colitis Australia Awareness Month with World IBD Day coming up on the 19th of May. CCA is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing support services advocacy and research funding for those affected by Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
Throughout Australia over 120 landmarks will be turning purple from 6pm on the 19th of May.
Below are the venue's turning purple in VIC in order to raise awareness.
