Vantage points on the western side of the city including Dawes Point, Barangaroo, and Observatory Hill offer amazing views of the bridge and city skyline.

Mrs Macquarie's Point, Bradfield Park & Mary Booth Reserve, Bennelong Lawn and Tarpeian Lawn offer great views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.

The 9pm Calling Country fireworks, produced by We Are Warriors, are perfect for families with young children. Spots like Dawes Point and Darling Harbour offer space for kids to play, food trucks, and entertainment.

New Year's Eve can be a long day so it's important to be prepared. Bring activities to keep everyone entertained. A book, board game, your favourite podcasts or shows can help make the day more enjoyable. Pack sunscreen, a hat, water, snacks, wet weather gear and a blanket to sit on. Avoid glass containers, alcohol, and large bags, as these are often banned at vantage points.
